About this site…

I’ve been making this stuff called art for nearly 30 years. This site shows what I generally consider finished pieces.

In addition to this stuff, I do web design—in particular the “alternate” (as in unofficial) site for the Fine Arts Department at Fontbonne University at finearts.fontbonne.edu. At Fontbonne, I teach photography and graphic design, and a few other things.

The images…

The most recent images are digital photographs, most taken with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikon D-series 55mm Micro lens. I really kind of enjoy using a 20+-year-old-lens on nearly-latest-digital body.

The site itself…

The site is coded as XHTML 1.0 Strict, not because it is served up that way, but for the discipline. This is what I require of my students. There is not any fancy-shmancy javascript or (heavens forbid) Flash. The javascript I have no problem with, I just don’t think any is neccessary for the site.

If you’ve been here before, the ancillary stuff is still in the same place: bookmarks will still work. The only thing I’ve noticed any traffic on at all is the Pascal’s Triangle ditty.
